Ms. Nishat has been in the teaching profession for over 20 years now. Having started her career tutoring English in Scholastica, Ms. Nishat has gone on to teach at other noteworthy private schools such as Southbreeze and Sir John Wilson School.

Ms. Nishat completed her undergraduate on English Literature at Dhaka University. Ascertaining a knack for the literary field, she went on to complete her Master’s in English at the same institution. 

Joining as a Language and Literature teacher, Ms. Nishat’s career at Scholastica quickly developed within a couple of years. She became a homeroom teacher and was tasked with maintaining extracurricular activities such as; poetry, story writing and curriculum building

After a long stint at Scholastica, Ms. Parvin continued her teaching career with Southbreeze School. At Southbreeze, she not only continued with lessons in English but was also involved in student mentoring and as a constant help to school administration. After working with Southbreeze, she joined Sir John Wilson where she has diligently performed her duties as a teacher.

Ms. Nishat thrives at teaching because of her ability to establish bonds with students which transcends a professional relationship. An easy to talk to person, Ms. Nishat enjoys conversations and has a special interest towards Bengali music and film.
