Chevan Gooneratne is a hotelier with over 25 years’ experience in the international hospitality business. He is an expert in leading and managing complex resorts, as well as business, convention, and boutique hotels in key city centers as well as in remote locations.

With multicultural work experience gained while working and living in the United States, Caribbean, and now in South East Asia and extensive hotel industry experience working for major brands such as Marriott International, Hilton, Westin Hotels (Starwood).

Chevan’s formidable scope of qualifications began with a Diploma in Hotel Operations from International Hotel School, Sri Lanka (Swiss accredited) and then a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management from California Polytechnic State University, California USA.

Also experienced in hotel, restaurant, and rebranding, repositioning, and extensive renovations.
