Syed Nakib Sadi is an academic with a keen interest in language teaching, material design and curriculum development. 

He was awarded M.A. in Applied Linguistics and ELT and B.A. (Hons.) from Department of English, University of Dhaka. Upon completion of graduation, he received scholarship from University of Dhaka for good behavior, attendance and academic performance during his university days. He also completed ‘Advanced Course on Research Methodology’ by Institute of Education and Research. He appeared for H.S.C from Notre Dame College and SSC from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School. 

Currently, he is teaching in a very renowned university. He also works with an International institute as a Consultant of translation and proofreading. Additionally, he is a corporate communication trainer for The Language Academy. 

Previously, he contributed as a Faculty, English at Bdeducation (an educational research company and a concern of United Trust) for two years. He worked on designing multimedia educational materials for primary and high school students. He played a crucial role in designing course books for United International University. He also worked with some reputed organizations such as A2i project supported by UNDP, ActionAid, Panjeree Publications Ltd., Gyaangriho Prokashoni (Nobodoot) etc. where he worked mostly as translator, proofreader, content developer and as a trainer. He facilitated multiple training sessions with organizations like Nuvista Pharma Limited, Unimart, Green Delta Insurance Company Limited etc.

As for language proficiency, he scored 7.5 in IELTS (with 8.5 in both Reading and Listening) and 189/200 in APTIS test.

Sadi is a highly motivated individual with strong leadership skill and a combination of patience and passion. He has quite an illustrious extra- curricular experience. He was one of the core organizers of last few Dhaka LitFest events. He was a President of Krishnachura, a cultural organization of Department of English, University of Dhaka. He also worked in international events such as ICC World Twenty20 2014, Digital World 2015 etc. He also represented Bangladesh in Sanghati 2017, an initiative commemorating language martyrs of 1952 by Government of West Bengal, India.
