He has always been interested to make the teaching techniques culture appropriate and more interactive for the learners to acquire all the four skills of English language. He is very friendly with his learners and believes that it helps to create a meaningful learning environment. He also believes in needs analysis to figure out the shortcomings of the learners.
“Language teaching becomes more effective and interesting when the learners’ needs are evaluated, and they are being connected to the real world situation. Therefore, I don’t think that one should always focus on only one specific method in teaching, rather various need based methods & techniques should be focused on”, says Firoz. Over the last 4 years many of his students got admitted themselves in different public universities. About this success, he believes that his focus on some specific skills as per the needs of the students helped him a lot.
